For the brochure, me and Jack were able to collaborate a lot in terms of coming up with the initial idea which was great. From there Jack took over coming up with filling in more the details such as how the actual company works and helped a lot in the interest and desire portions of the brochure. I helped with the attention and call to action portions. When it came down to actually designing the brochure Jack had found a template that he had started to get the information into but I actually found a way to format a brochure in google docs. This worked out great because I was able to add in some more graphic design elements and take the logo Jack had created and keep it in its original form. I took all of the information that he and I had come up with and put it all into a living document so that way we can both work on editing it. The brochure could definitely be edited and have a little more pizazz to it but for me working on it for a couple of hours I am happy with what I made so far. And also there is also room for improvement and I’m interested in seeing what other people have to say about it.

So right off I love the design of your brochure as it is definitely eye catching which is a super important element for people to want to pick up and read about your product. On the first panel I think it would be really helpful to have a picture of a shower or something to show your product because sometimes just words is a little underwhelming to read. I love the line “meet the perfect sole mate” but maybe make that a little bigger to emphasize that fun element. The second panel maybe add in a picture or make the contact info larger. This call to action portion would also be improved by making people really jump to go and get that product, like saying something like “You need this today, find out more down below!”. I love the creativity with the Foot for Thought company name and color of the text really pops which is great. On the fourth panel I thought the design of the product was great but maybe limit the text to a couple of key words and make the pictures pop a little more. I think that some more graphic design elements would be helpful to break up some of the text you have like for the fifth panel. Also, bullets help also to break down some of the main points. The testimonial was great, but I would suggest having some testimonials from students to really create that sense of why everyone needs this product. I thought overall there is a lot of creativity in your brochure, and as an edit it would be great to show yourselves in the brochure instead of just using the template, like I suggested the use of some more graphics and making things pop more will really make this brochure great!

Just glancing at your brochure for a second I can tell that you both took a lot of time into creating this and it shows. The use of images was awesome, and someone would pick this up and want to read it which is awesome. The attention panel is great with the images, but I think the addition of the tagline would be nice on this page and to also make this title of the company bigger to be what you see the most. This compared to the images being the main focus which while they are great could overcrowd the main information cause I (along with many people) get distracted by such cute animals. A couple of the images are a little blurry so maybe some other or a version of those could be found just to make the panel really clear visually. The middle panel I really enjoyed with the contact information being super clear and that there was a clear call to action with the coupon. The left panel I loved the tagline but maybe this could be used for some more information just to not cramp the other panels. Or another thing to fill more of this space would be why people should utilize this service. I think for the information that you had discussing the process of renting the animal for a certain amount of time was very straight forward which I appreciated. Overall I thought your brochure really showed the happiness that having a pet for an amount of time creates for someone but maybe use some time to really understand why the consumer should do this, do the profits benefit an animal shelter or maybe more of a mission statement of the company and how it was created. Great idea and looking forward to the final product!
