As I work to revise my resume I will be focusing on the addition of more skills under my skills and qualifications section. I feel as though a resume is difficult in that I want to get across what my qualifications are but also how to convey aspects of my personality also. This section will help me to achieve this. I will also work to include an objective as I neglected to add this to my resume.Overall the feedback I received was very positive which was great to hear and that there weren’t any parts of it that stood out to them as things I needed to change. As a reviewer it was nice to be able to help my peers in their revisions and also see some style aspects from their drafts that I could utilize to improve mine.

Now that I have finished writing my resume I am much more confidant in what information to place on my resume as well as how to highlight my skill set. The initial review of the draft of my resume was extremely positive in terms of the format of it as well as the information I had included. In the revision process I worked on including my objective and making that very clear to read and understand. Also I changed some of the formatting to avoid having as much white space present on my page, such as where my relevant courses are listed. The work involved in changing these things went very well and I have become more aware of when I should be changing things such as what information is and isn’t relevant to the position I am applying for. I hope to utilize the techniques I have gained in this process for the future when I have to update my resume.
